I'm glad you have such peace in your identity in Him. I wish I could keep a firmer grasp on mine most days, lol! I've been finding more in the last few years that writing is more of a calling for me than a job description. And I figure, if God called me to do it, He can manage the parts of it that are beyond me...which is pretty much most of it. ;)

Kathy: Right you are! Good catch. ;)
Speaking of things beyond me, I never have been able to wrap my brain around the whole "I AM" quote. But I do tend to agree with J.R.R. Tolkien in the idea that humans likely seem so compelled to create because they are made in the image of a creator.
Oh, and thank you. If I manage to amuse, I at least feel purposeful. ^_^

*waves a quill pen around, crazily* "I'm a writer! I'm a writer!"Angela N. Though no one else has discovered my genius... yet, I am a writer. I think like a writer, I hear voices in my head, I see things differently or desire to ponder what if's. Yes, "I am."

Perhaps I am not all knowing, but in my own little world, I am the creator of marvelous things. So when you wonder if you're a writer, you are because you have already asked yourself, what if. Makes sense?

Btw, I think you are extremely witty. My main peace with it comes from the fact that I know without any shadow or turning that my ability to write came from God and He is the One who has guided me every step. Even before one single other person in the universe read my works, I was still a writer because God defines me as one. That is my calling and my place in the Body of Christ and my thrust into the Gospel. Hope that helps.

Cindy Holmesasherholmeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14291977035300076124noreply@blogger.com
